Daily Happiness - Montana
I posted this video in a couple other places, but figured I’d share here as well.
The long weekend in Montana was amazing as expected. Visited Yellowstone and saw Old Faithful and explored a few other areas of volcanic activity. Hiked a cool trail down Indian Creek. And spent a bulk of the time relaxing at the Old Kirby Place. Playing baseball, fishing, eating and cocktailing by the Madison River with some of my favorite people.
As for the video. I used my new Canon G11 which shoots video. No HD thus the grainy texture particularly on the darker shots. Edited that roughly in iMovie. Which is frustratingly limited, but practical. I started shooting video on the trip not knowing what to do with it. I quickly realized that I wasn’t going to get any good shots of the little one as he wanted nothing to do with it. So I just shot my POV which I think came together relatively cohesively. We’ll see how I approach whatever the next adventure is.
And I’m extremely glad I unplugged for the whole trip.
